The club has successfully completed the annual festive Toy Collection.

Organised by President Elect Pat Hersant, Father Christmas and his little (and not so little) helpers visited local schools to collect the toys and entertain the children.

With community support around 1,000 toys were delivered to KCC Social Services for 'less fortunate' children in the area over the Christmas period.

Pat said: ”This was yet another example of the Rotary Club of Ramsgate striving to 'make a difference' in the community.”

Schools which took part were Newington Community Primary; Priory Infant; St. Laurence in Thanet C of E Junior; Ellington Infants; Chilton Primary and St Joseph’s Catholic Primary.
